Beach Park Taxi to O’Hare
Beach Park sits at the far edge of Lake County, home to the largest freshwater marina in the country and a stretch of Illinois Beach State Park — which also means it’s one of our longer runs to O’Hare. We price it as one flat rate so the distance is never a surprise at drop-off.
About Beach Park
Beach Park’s name comes from its original train stop around 1908, when conductors on the Chicago–Milwaukee line would announce “next stop… Beach… Park” for the small lakeside park near the station. In the 1920s, developer F.H. Bartlett subdivided the area and, in a detail that still shows up on street signs today, named many of the roads after silent-film stars — Fairbanks, Gish, Chaney, Pickford, and Chaplin among them. The village itself is relatively young: after residents organized against being annexed by Waukegan, Beach Park formally incorporated in 1989, built on a founding platform of no property tax. You can find local information through the official Village of Beach Park site.
What draws most outside visitors, though, is the shoreline: Beach Park holds the South Unit of Illinois Beach State Park along with North Point Marina, the largest freshwater marina in the United States. Between the dunes, the beach, and boat slips, this is a suburb people fly in to visit almost as often as residents fly out of it.
Distance and drive time are approximate — actual travel can shift with traffic on I-94 and Route 41, especially during summer weekends near the lakefront.

North Point Marina Pickups & Drop-Offs
Flying in for a weekend on the water, or heading out after docking your boat? We handle North Point Marina and Illinois Beach State Park pickups directly, no separate arrangement required.
Car Seats, Booked Ahead
Add a car seat for $10 when you book — availability is limited, and worth pairing with what Illinois’ Child Passenger Protection Act requires.
Terminal 5, Handled Directly
We’re authorized for direct Terminal 5 pickups — gates 5D or 5E, inner lane — with real-time flight tracking, something Uber and Lyft still can’t offer.
One Flat Price for the Distance
Beach Park is one of our longer trips to O’Hare — the $84 rate is agreed before you leave, so a slow stretch on I-94 never changes what you pay.

The flat rate doesn’t change with how many people are in the car — only with which vehicle you pick.

Beach Park to O’Hare — Common Questions
Can you pick us up at North Point Marina or drop us off there after landing?
Yes — marina pickups and drop-offs are routine for us. Just give us the specific dock or entrance when you book.
Does the $84 rate change depending on which part of Beach Park I’m in?
No, the flat rate covers pickups anywhere within Beach Park village limits, whether you’re near the state park or further inland.
My street is named after an old silent-film star, like Chaplin or Pickford — will the driver find it okay?
No problem at all — drivers navigate by your exact address and GPS, so an unusual street name never slows down the pickup.
Can I book a car seat for a flight out of Beach Park?
Yes, for $10 extra, though availability is limited — reserve it when you book rather than asking last minute.
Do you also serve nearby Waukegan, Zion, or Gurnee?
Yes — we run flat-rate service across the far north shore area, including Waukegan, Zion, Gurnee, Park City, and Wadsworth, each priced separately.
Are you authorized to pick up directly at O’Hare’s Terminal 5?
Yes. O’Hare Airport Taxi LLC is authorized for direct Terminal 5 pickups, something Uber and Lyft cannot do. Our drivers wait at gates 5D or 5E, inner lane, and track your flight so they’re ready when you land.
