Carol Stream Taxi to O’Hare
24/7 flat-rate airport transportation from Carol Stream to O’Hare International — upfront pricing, no surge, no app-driver roulette.
In 1957, builder and military veteran Jay W. Stream grew frustrated with bureaucratic delays while developing a subdivision in Naperville — as the story goes, a clerk told him to “build your own town.” He did exactly that, buying up unincorporated farmland outside Wheaton, and the Village of Carol Stream officially incorporated on January 5, 1959, growing from 836 residents in 1960 to over 15,000 by 1980. Official village information is available on Carol Stream’s official site.
Today the village is also known for a lighter piece of civic trivia: several of its parks carry space-age names, including Armstrong Park (after Neil Armstrong) and the Aldrin Community Center (after Buzz Aldrin), and the Great Western Trail runs right through town.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it true Carol Stream is named after an actual person?
Yes — the village is named after Carol, the daughter of founder Jay Stream, who named the new community after her in 1957 as a hopeful gesture while she recovered from a serious car accident. It’s one of the few American communities named after a living person’s full first and last name.
Can you pick us up near the Great Western Trail or Armstrong Park?
Yes — the trail, Armstrong Park, and every neighborhood in Carol Stream are standard pickup points, priced the same flat $58 to O’Hare.
Carol Stream has a lot of light-industrial and warehouse areas — does the rate change for those pickups?
No — $58 is the flat rate for any pickup within Carol Stream village limits, residential or commercial.
Can I book a car seat for a flight out of Carol Stream?
Yes, for $10 extra, though availability is limited — reserve it when you book rather than asking last minute.
Do you also serve nearby Bloomingdale, Glendale Heights, Wheaton, or West Chicago?
Yes — we run flat-rate service across this part of DuPage County, including Bloomingdale, Glendale Heights, Wheaton, and West Chicago, each priced separately.
Are you authorized to pick up directly at O’Hare’s Terminal 5?
Yes. O’Hare Airport Taxi LLC is authorized for direct Terminal 5 pickups, something Uber and Lyft cannot do. Our drivers wait at gates 5D or 5E, inner lane, and track your flight so they’re ready when you land.
